Bioinagro is a startup foundend in 2017 as a limited liability agricultural company.

The company operates in agriculture through innovation in the Bioeconomy and Green Chemistry fields to give value to the high-valued agricultural biomass and production in Sicily in technical applications with a high content of technology and innovation in the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic fields.

Bioinagro was born as part of a multi-year financing project, Promimprese's 'Slow-Farm' call, aimed at establishing - with its own funds - a portfolio of entrepreneurial activities in emerging sectors with a high innovation content, with a strong impact on the civil society, and high economic potential.

Through Bioinagro, the over ten-year activity of Promimprese continues, aimed at the enhancement of Sicilian agricultural biomass in technical applications with a high content of technology and innovation with high added value in the food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic fields.
