Buchan Offshore Wind is a partnership of three leading European energy businesses with the ambition of developing offshore wind projects around the Scottish coastline. The partners are BayWa r.e., a leading global renewable energy business with 75 employees in Scotland, Elicio, a renewable energy company developing and operating offshore wind farms; and the floating wind technology developer Ideol. The group is now working together to progress a joint bid for the ScotWind leasing round launched by Crown Estate Scotland in June 2020.
