The Star of the South is Australia's most advanced offshore wind project. Proposed to be located off the south coast of Gippsland in Victoria, it would have the capacity to provide up to around 20% of Victoria’s energy requirements.

The project is currently in the feasibility stage.

The Star of the South is being progressed by local Australian developers, along with expert offshore wind partners, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Copenhagen Offshore Partners.
